Redondo Beach Food and Wine Festival Pairs Napa With Neighbors

The only thing better than a food and wine festival is a food and wine festival in your own backyard!  Our neighbors at South Bay Events and the Crowne Plaza are bringing a grand tasting event right here to Redondo Beach.

On Thursday, November 12, South Bay Events will be making waves at Splash Bistro at the Crown Plaza Redondo Beach and Marina Hotel.  The event, “A Neighborhood Wine Tasting and Food Sampling”, will feature Napa and Paso Robles vineyards with each offering an array of red, white, and sparkling wines.

To accompany the vino, Splash Bistro’s Head Chef Gary Howard is preparing a menu sure to amaze even the most discerning tastes.  With meat, seafood, and vegetables serving as the focus, among the selections are Pork Filettino on Falsa Bruschetta,  Seared Scallops Wrapped in Applewood Bacon, and Marinated Olive Boretane.

If that sounds too fancy for your tastebuds, there will also be a station featuring comfort foods that go just as well with wine as they do with beer:  pigs-in-a-blanket, spicy chicken wings, and assorted poppers among others.

They haven’t forgotten about our “sweet-tooths” either.  A variety of desserts will be on hand, paired with dessert wines.

Tickets for this event are just $45 (WTH!?) and are available online until Monday, November 9th.  There is even a discount available!  Enter promo code SBENEWS at checkout and receive %20 off.
