Get a Taste of “San Pedro’s Biggest Block Party”, August 6-8
This weekend you can sample local foods and beverages at The Taste in San Pedro, “San Pedro’s biggest block party”.
Taste in San Pedro at Point Fermin Park.
Presented by the San Pedro Chamber of commerce, this event started as a small, fund-raising progressive dinner and has grown into a signature event for the entire community. Proceeds from this event go to support local non-profit organizations. Past recipients have included YWCA of the Harbor Area and LAPD Youth Programs among others.
One-day admission for this three day event is $10; discounts are available for seniors and military, kids under 5 get in free.
Along with food and beverages from a wide selection of vendors, entertainment is on deck with performances from bands singing rock, swing, jazz, and R&B. Check out the line up on the event website.
The real star of the show though, is the setting: cliff-side Point Fermin Park offers picturesque views from Catalina to Long Beach.
