Blogger Prom goes “Hollywood Confidential” for 2010

One of the best things about blogging in LA is meeting other bloggers that share the love and, um, nerdiness of documenting life in our town.  I’m fortunate to have blogger meet ups more often than not, but there’s one LA blogger meet up that trumps them all:  Blogger Prom.

Blogger Prom is the pièce de résistance of blogger meet ups.  With all of the work, promotion, and production that goes into it, this event places itself in a league of its own.

Last summer I was fortunate to attend the inaugural Blogger Prom, held at the swank Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood.  The 80’s prom theme was a perfect fit and the event went along famously.  You can check out my review here.

Back in Action for 2010

Looking to take things to the next level, the Blogger Prom Committee is at it again, setting things up for this year’s event.  The venue is the historic Yamashiro Restaurant in Hollywood which settles nicely into this years theme of “Hollywood Confidential”.

I’m thrilled to once again be heading to this event to meet and network with LA bloggers that cover all sorts of topics.  I’m even more excited that proceeds from the event go to benefit Operation Frontline, a non-profit organization that teaches families “how to plan, purchase, and prepare healthy, tasty, and affordable foods”.  There’s nothing I enjoy more than partying for a cause!
