This Weekend: LA Times The TASTE, LA County Fair, and #FiestaHermosa
Labor Day Weekend is here and that means plenty of events to wrap up another great summer. Here are a few parties that the South Bay Foodies are attending. You’re invited too!
LA Times The TASTE
Riding the tail end of summer, the TASTE is one of my favorite festivals with its focus on the LA Dining scene. The list of star chefs that will be serving their best include some of our local heroes like BBQ Master Neil “Big Mista” Strawder and Top Chef Brooke Williamson of Hudson House Redondo Beach. Packed into Labor Day weekend, the TASTE gives Angelenos and their guests four events for four unique LA experiences from a speakeasy style, cocktail-focused soiree to a family style Labor Day Block Party. LA County Fair
Summe just isn’t complete without a trip to the fair! The LA County fair starts today and is chock full of events, animals, and all kinds of food from fried kool-aid to huge barbequed turkey legs. 
The one to look out for this summer is the Krispy Kreme pulled pork sandwich: a big helping of tender, marinated meat tucked inside a glazed doughnut. Don’t tell your dietician!

Fiesta Hermosa
The South Bay’s very own summer celebration, Fiesta Hermosa bookends our favorite season with a party on Memorial Day to start the summer off…and another on Labor Day to shut it down.
