Month-long Irish Celebration at the Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar
When I’m with friends that are indecisive about choosing a place to eat, I like having a list of quality “go to” restaurants in my back pocket. The Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar is one of those restaurants because they offer great food at affordable prices. I appreciate that they pay attention to dining trends and periodically introduce interesting new dishes.
From now until March 27, The Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar is offering the following St. Patrick’s Day specials:
Irish Nachos
With the plethora of food trucks in LA, you would think that Irish Nachos would be something readily available. Lazy Dog’s version consists of fried potatoes covered in their special chili and topped with jack and cheddar cheeses, sour cream, onions, tomatoes, and their house-made pickled jalapenos.
Cocktail: James & Ginger
Lazy Dog offers the classic Jameson Irish Whiskey paired with Gosling Ginger Beer and fresh squeezed lime to make an interesting variation on the typical Irish Whiskey paired with ginger ale.
Draft Beer: Half & Half
This is a popular drink made with Harp Lager topped with Guiness Stout. It’s a cool drink to order as the light and dark beers will remain separated for a period of time.
Don’t forget that these specials go away on March 27!

We used to go semi regularly to a Lazy Dog in Santa Ana/Tustin Marketplace with the kids when they lived close by. They’ve bought a house in Oceanside so we’ll miss going there now. The food was always tasty & plenty to fill us up.
Quite enjoyed dining there, & we’ll miss it. Thanks for a well written article as per usual!
btw that Marketplace is huge! Santa Ana Marketplace on the west side of the street, Tustin Marketplace on the eastern side. A BJ’s sits near Lazy Dog also, which we dined at once or twice.
Thanks Bryan!
