California Food & Beverage Festivals Worth The Drive

We’re blessed to have some really great food and beverage festivals in the South Bay and Los Angeles. Did you know there are plenty more just a few hours away by car or plane? Here are some of our favorites that are worth the trip.

Pebble Beach Food & Wine, Pebble Beach, April 10-13, 2014

Pebble Beach Food & Wine is the premier epicurean lifestyle event on the West Coast, matching 250 acclaimed wineries and 75 celebrity chefs to create a hedonistic four-day destination on one of the most picturesque strips of coastline in the world. Bacon and Barrels, San Diego, May 30-31, 2014

This upscale and fun food festival is headed south to San Diego from May 30-May 31, 2014. A 4-Course VIP Dinner, featuring Beer and Bourbon pairings by “Dr. Bill” Sysak of Stone Brewing, will be held at a private venue on May 30th. The all-day festival on May 31st will feature over 140 food and libation booths at the Embarcadero Marina Park South.

LA Street Food Fest, Pasadena, June 28, 2014

OK, so this one really isn’t a trip…but getting across town to Pasadena can be tough, right!? For this event, the Rose Bowl is filled with more than 100 food trucks, street food vendors, beer barons, and cocktail mixologists. For the price of admission, you get to sample everything! The secret: get the VIP option for early entry.
