Grimaldi’s Pizzeria introduces new desserts based on Girl Scout cookies

If it’s February, it’s the time when young enthusiastic Girl Scouts are busy selling Girl Scout cookies. Thin mints, samoas, tagalongs, do-si-dos to name just a few. Thin mints and tagalongs are favorites in our household and we always like to try out the new ones in case we have a new favorite.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is supporting the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles by offering two new desserts based on Girl Scout cookies: the Chocolate Mint Cheesecake with Thin Mints® along with the Caramel Coconut Cheesecake with Samoas®.

The Chocolate Mint Cheesecake includes pieces of Thin Mints® cookies mixed inside. The crust also includes bits of Thin Mints® and a dollop of fresh whipped cream. The Caramel Coconut Cheesecake is topped with a caramel glaze and toasted coconut; the crust is made with bits of Samoas®. The cheesecake if finished with a chocolate drizzle and fresh whipped cream. These special cheesecakes will be available at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria El Segundo location for $5 a slice while supplies last. For every slice of these special cheesecakes sold, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will donate $1 to the  Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will continue to offer its traditional dessert menu for guests to choose from which includes: Tiramisu, Housemade Cheesecakes—New York Style or Oreo Cookie—priced at $5 each and Grimaldi’s Famous Cannoli for $4.50.
