The folks at Whole Foods are at it again with a great deal for diners interested in gourmet foods and well crafted beverages, offered at a reasonable price.

When winter comes around I start to crave beverages that will warm me up; coffee, hot chocolate, cider.  All this time, I never considered tequila!

Coca-Cola has a new outfit: this refreshing beverage is now being served in a chic aluminum bottle that’s designed to keep your beverage cool 15% longer…and make you look cool while sipping it.

Sharks Cove is a Hermosa Beach haven that provides fierce partiers with a sea of entertainment. This sports bar not only allows you to view your favorite games on a plethora TVs, but to also engage in an activity of your own with multiple pool tables, darts, fuse ball, and video games.

Attention all foodies: a new Bevmo has emerged in the South Bay, and it is situated on PCH in Rolling Hills (just south of the PCH and Hawthorne intersection).  This location celebrated its opening in style, with a mega tasting event that benefited the Boys & Girls Club of the South Bay.

Congratulations to our two winners:  Rebecca C from Mommyhood Is Thankless and Jordan.  They’ll be receiving a care package from Coca-Cola with new aluminum bottles of Classic Coke, Diet Coke, and Coke Zero.

South Bay Foodies has teamed up with Coca-Cola to help them introduce their new 8.5 oz aluminum bottles in LA!  Coca-Cola says the new design is fashioned after their classic bottle to keeps beverages cooler longer, while also offering the perfect taste and carbonation. If you haven’t had a chance to sample your favorite Coke beverage in one of these space-age containers, now’s your chance!

Just as we’re preparing to wrap up Restaurant Week, another gastronomic Festival beckons us to dine and drink.  LA Beer Week , “an 11 day celebration of beer culture in Los Angeles and Orange Counties”, is set to run from October 15 through the 25th.

Venerable beverage retailer Beverages and More, now simply known as BevMo, opened a new location today in Manhattan Beach at 1700 Rosecrans Ave.  From what I hear, the line was out the door even before they opened.  My guess is it was all the folks that wanted to stock up for the weekend without having to drive all [...]

I was running errands near Nijiya Market and decided to run in for lunch.  Something light is always good for running around so I grabbed a bottle of jasmine tea and a California roll.  I was in for two big surprises.

For me, the sweetness of grilled peaches and the minty lime of mojitos go hand in hand with summer time.  Certain foods and flavors go perfectly with summer and these two are usual suspects.

I was browsing the beverages in Whole Foods today and came across Honest Tea’s Agave Mate (pronounced MAH-tay).  Being familiar with the other uses for agave (hello!  making tequila), I was immediately curious.
