For the past couple months, Target stores in the South Bay have been shuffling stock from one part of the store to another, only to move it back a couple days later.  What’s all the fuss about?  They’re making room for groceries.

With locations of  Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo Beach, and many more as you continue south, Hennessey’s spreads its happy hour fortunes down the Pacific Coast, allowing beach lovers a chance to revel in Irish fate.

I’m so glad to see so many restaurants and businesses making it easy for us to contribute to the Haitian relief effort by doing what we already do: eat and drink!  Ortega 120 is doing just that and more with great options this weekend.

The happy hour ship is docking, so hurry over to the Bluewater Grill, and explore a sea of affordable delights!

The only thing better than a food and wine festival is a food and wine festival in your own backyard!  Our neighbors South Bay Events and the Crowne Plaza are bringing a grand tasting event right here to Redondo Beach.

Just as we’re preparing to wrap up Restaurant Week, another gastronomic Festival beckons us to dine and drink.  LA Beer Week , “an 11 day celebration of beer culture in Los Angeles and Orange Counties”, is set to run from October 15 through the 25th.

Happy hour is always fun but its even more fun having a drink and a bite to eat with foodie friends!  We had such a great time hanging with food bloggers and friends at Chaya Brasserie a while back, that we decided to do it again.  Except this time we went for a locale a little closer to home.

Last weekend, Josh (the commander in chief over at Food GPS) brought a crack team of food bloggers to our neck of the woods for a marathon; a food marathon.  The concept?  To spend an afternoon eating and drinking at some tasty spots near the beach.
