Man’s best friend just got an invitation to happy hour at one of Long Beach’s hottest ocean front venues.

I’m so glad to see so many restaurants and businesses making it easy for us to contribute to the Haitian relief effort by doing what we already do: eat and drink!  Ortega 120 is doing just that and more with great options this weekend.

Sharks Cove is a Hermosa Beach haven that provides fierce partiers with a sea of entertainment. This sports bar not only allows you to view your favorite games on a plethora TVs, but to also engage in an activity of your own with multiple pool tables, darts, fuse ball, and video games.

Happy hour is always fun but its even more fun having a drink and a bite to eat with foodie friends!  We had such a great time hanging with food bloggers and friends at Chaya Brasserie a while back, that we decided to do it again.  Except this time we went for a locale a little closer to home.

As mentioned in a previous post, Fleming’s has added a happy hour to their nightly offerings.  Labeled as “5 for 6 til 7″, the menu offers up 5 cocktails, 5 wines, and 5 appetizers all prized at $6 until 7 PM.  As an attempt to get folks in to spend some cash in this less than stellar economy, it works.
