Earlier this month, I shared some of the beverage offerings on Lazy Dog’s new happy hour menu. Today we’re taking a look at the happy hour food!

The secret of the success at Islands Restaurant is right there in the tagline: “Fine Burgers and Drinks”. To keep up with the demand for their beach-inspired beverages and family friendly foods, Islands has opened their third South Bay location in Redondo Beach.

The Tripel in Playa Del Rey may only have a license for beer and wine, but cocktails are not a problem.

If you’re looking for a holiday meal, this one could be the ticket. This Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ is offering all you can eat (AYCE) specials including unlimited champagne and sake.

Known for their beach-inspired burgers and cuisine, Islands Restaurant has opened a new location near South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach.

Recently, King’s Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant introduced a new menu: the Hawaiian Connection Menu. With so many cultures present in the Hawaiian population, this new menu reflects the new foods and flavors that are becoming staples in Hawaiian cuisine.

Ortega 120 is kicking off a Day of the Dead celebration with a five day long event that is set to take guests right back to old Mexico.

Rock & Brews in Downtown El Segundo is like no other restaurant in the South Bay. It’s a crazy combination of a beer garden, a juke joint, and a California café serving cutting edge comfort food and award winning beers. Oh, and I mean crazy in a good way.

In September, Fleming’s announceed the “Flemings 100″ – 100 award-winning wines available by the glass – during special wine tasting events at each Fleming’s location.  The South Bay Foodies were on hand to sample some vino and check out the new small plates on the dinner menu too.

The Strand House is located just steps from the Manhattan Beach Pier and the ocean front sidewalk for which it is named. Folks familiar with the location may think back to the days when the popular Beaches restaurant occupied the same address. Well, Beaches may be gone but the “life’s a beach” vibe and spectacular sunset views remain, updated with a heavy dose of elegance and bourgeoisie.

You’re not in Kansas anymore! For patrons of American Farmhouse Tavern & Dining Hall, that’s a good thing. They’ve taken Santa Maria style barbecue and paired it with stylish farmhouse décor for an experience that’s rustic and elegant at the same time. Spoiler alert: The food is good too.
