After years of driving past the unassuming store front on 190th Street in Torrance, I finally paid a visit to Country Touch Cafe in Torrance.  Here’s my review of breakfast at this little slice of the South in Los Angeles.

Sharkeez is a well-known Southbay establishment that attracts the fiercest partiers in the beach cities and greater LA area.

The hard working — and very hungry — citizens of El Segundo were treated to visit from the Buttermilk Truck Wednesday morning.  Announcing their visit via Twitter, the shiny happy truck served up quality, fairly priced breakfast cuisine from 9 – 11 AM.

If you’re looking for an intriguing place for brunch, consider Fuego at The Mayan Hotel in Long Beach.  The food is commendable and the setting alone is worth the visit.  The restaurant is open to the Long Beach harbor and has views from the skyline to the Queen Mary.  With a band just outside the dining room playing live salsa music, the mood is that of a relaxing day on the Mexican Rivera.
