If you think you can get into King’s Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant without getting dessert, think again.

In this taste test, I get my hands on some granola — By Hand Granola — made right here in the South Bay by a family business based in Hermosa Beach.

The Strand House is located just steps from the Manhattan Beach Pier and the ocean front sidewalk for which it is named. The only thing better than a food and wine festival is a food and wine festival in your own backyard!  Our neighbors South Bay Events and the Crowne Plaza are bringing a grand tasting event right here to Redondo Beach.

Happy hour is always fun but its even more fun having a drink and a bite to eat with foodie friends!  We had such a great time hanging with food bloggers and friends at Chaya Brasserie a while back, that we decided to do it again.  Except this time we went for a locale a little closer to home.
