This was the fourth year of the Annual LA Street Food Festival. It was held last Saturday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Over 100 vendors and 5,000 attendees braved the heat to enjoy the festivities. Singha Beer handed out whimsical yellow visors which helped due to the bright sunshine.

The South Bay Greek Festival is one Bryan’s favorite food festivals.  It returns to St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox church in South Redondo on Friday July 12 through Sunday July 14.

The LA Times – THE TASTE food and drink festival returns to LA Labor Day weekend.

Events include: food and drink from L.A.’s best restaurants, cooking and cocktail demos, wine seminars and more.

dineLA kicked off their Winter Restaurant Week today with more than 250 restaurants participating.  The South Bay is well represented this time around with several restaurants participating across five neighborhoods including Torrance, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Redondo Beach.

This Sunday, The hills of Malibu will be the scene for one of Los Angeles premiere food and wine soirees.  Simply put, its LA Magazines The Food Event.

Like any other Labor Day in Southern California, there will be hundreds of events going on with more to do than can be done. There’s one thing that must be on your calendar, though: THE TASTE presented by The Los Angeles Times.

One of the greatest battleships in history, the USS Iowa, has come to San Pedro. Tonight the streets of LA’s harbor town will be the setting for a grand welcoming of this new addition to our waterfront.  This event will feature live music from a swing band, food and beverages from local vendors, and the installation of Tivoli lights in downtown San Pedro.

This year, we’ll celebrate 236 years of independence on Wednesday, July 4. In typical fashion there will be plenty of smoky cookouts, fanfare worthy parades, and firework shows that will oooh and ahhh the crowds.

While there are still a few shows missing (City of Torrance, please come back!), thankfully a show has returned (Marina Del Rey).

From Memorial Day in May, until Labor Day in September, we soak up the sun and laze away the long summer days in typical Southern California fashion. We kicked off the season with a bang so we might as well go out with one!  Thank goodness for Fiesta Hermosa.
