South Bay Foodies has teamed up with Coca-Cola to help them introduce their new 8.5 oz aluminum bottles in LA! Coca-Cola says the new design is fashioned after their classic bottle and keeps beverages cooler longer, while also offering the perfect taste and carbonation.
If you haven’t had a chance to sample your favorite Coke beverage in one of these space-age containers, now’s your chance! Two lucky participants will receive a care pack with one of each of the new bottles: Classic Coke in blazing red, Diet Coke in stylish silver, and (my favorite!) Coke Zero in laid-back black.

I am a fan of the original! I’m excited that Coca-Cola is introducing the new bottles. It reminds me of my early years – growing up and visiting the South and purchasing the glass cola bottles. I think I was the only kid in NY that collected them. I just knew I had something special and unique. I can’t wait until I get a chance to grab hold of these new aluminum bottles.

I am ALL about the classic red – if it tastes as good as my beloved green bottle cokes then I am IN! [and those suckers are hard to find around here] Coke tastes funny in plastic to me, don’t like it.

Diet coke…the silver bottle. Stuff is like carbonated crack! Not sure how to resist diet coke. Been a nemisis of mine for years now. Gave up all artificial sweeteners except diet coke. It calls me…how bad is that?:o)

Haven’t tried the zero version to compare it to diet, but the regular diet soda has always been a good substitute for drinking and baking!
