The Rosecrans corridor has seen plenty of growth over the past year with new choices in dining. Thankfully Caló Kitchen + Tequila is among the new additions bringing a solid margarita menu and serious Mexican food.

Dave & Busters’s is opening their newest Southern California location today at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.

This holiday season Bluewater Grill is keeping with their tradition of stuffing the lobster instead of the bird. A prix fixe special that includes lobster, clam chowder, wine and more is available for lobster lovers on Tuesday, December 12.

Primo Italia is a newish restaurant just on Crenshaw Blvd just south of Pacific Coast Highway. Like many restaurants focsued on Italian cuisine, they’re mainly open for dinner. But on the weekends, they make an exception and open for the South Bay tradition known as Sunday brunch.

For years when people have asked me to suggest a “nice place for dinner” near the Redondo Beach Pier, Kincaid’s would be one of the first places to come to mind. I checked in on Kincaid’s recently. Here’s the review.
