Starbucks Brews a Cup of Free Wi-Fi

About two weeks ago, Starbucks announced that they would be offering their customers free wi-fi along with their frappes and Americanos starting on July 1.

In addition to being free, the wi-fi access is slated to be easy:  no user names or passwords will be needed.  To make the deal even sweeter, access is unlimited.  Unlike their previous 2-hour limit for paid wi-fi access, the only limit on your espresso-fueled web surfing is the charge in your net book’s battery.

Starbucks has also teamed up with Yahoo to provide custom content on their network.  You’ll only be able to access the exclusive content from inside a Starbucks.  That is, until someone retweets it!
