Fun at the South Bay Greek Festival

Grilling the meat for the souvlaki

I look forward to the South Bay Greek Festival each year and it’s primarily because the dishes are made by members of St. Katherine’s Greek Church. Some of these recipes have been handed down through the generations and it’s great to see the grown up children taking over the responsibilities from their parents.

Someone must have acted on feedback that crowd flow in previous years was suboptimal. The organizers completely redesigned the outdoor layout so that the flow would generally come from one direction versus from many directions. Further it was nice to see additional tables and chairs. This was the first year I didn’t see people hovering over tables waiting for a seat to become vacant.
