If looking for an Easter Brunch feels more like an egg hunt, look no further. Here are some suggestions to consider, whether you’re cooking at home or heading out.

On Wednesday, March 17, everyone in the South Bay becomes Irish!  From sunrise to sunset, the streets of our beach cities are likely to be packed with green-clad leprechauns chasing rainbows and pots o’ gold.  Here are a few suggestions to get your St. Patty’s Day celebration going.

For the past couple months, Target stores in the South Bay have been shuffling stock from one part of the store to another, only to move it back a couple days later.  What’s all the fuss about?  They’re making room for groceries.

The folks at Whole Foods are at it again with a great deal for diners interested in gourmet foods and well crafted beverages, offered at a reasonable price.

Hot on the heels of National Cupcake Day, Little Debbie is coming to town to give away some baked goodies for free.

Attention all foodies: a new Bevmo has emerged in the South Bay, and it is situated on PCH in Rolling Hills (just south of the PCH and Hawthorne intersection).  This location celebrated its opening in style, with a mega tasting event that benefited the Boys & Girls Club of the South Bay.

I was running errands near Nijiya Market and decided to run in for lunch.  Something light is always good for running around so I grabbed a bottle of jasmine tea and a California roll.  I was in for two big surprises.

Imagine, walking through your grocery store and, just as you past the produce section, a quaint little patio restaurant pops out of nowhere.  It has an open kitchen with a charbroiler, a bar and tables facing a ceiling mounted flat screen TV, and a menu featuring burgers, salads, and BBQ combo plates.  That’s Bill’s Grill!

I know it seems like a chore or a burden to give back to the community or donate to charity or recycle cans and all of that shiny happy world stuff.

Well here’s an opportunity for you to do something to benefit others while doing something you do anyway…buying gorceries!

I’m always excited when a new grocery store comes to town and Fresh & Easy was no exception.  Their Manhattan Beach location opened last July and I’ve been a fan ever since. 

The store is much smaller than your typical grocery store but has everything you’d need if you’re just running in to grab something or shopping for a week’s worth of meals.
