Offered on the second Tuesday of every month, Bluewater’s monthly tasting events allow seafood aficionados to satisfy their cravings in a spirited setting featuring the latest seasonal fresh fish varieties, regional celebrations and commentary by the restaurant’s resident seafood experts. Resident chefs and seafood experts will be available to discuss specific preparation techniques, tips and recipes.

These events feature new and classic takes on seafood and pair them with a wine, beer, or cocktail, all for about $45 per person. Not bad! The Tuesday event kicks off a special menu for the rest of that month. After the kick off, you can get the special menu at the same price…but without the paired drink.

Here’s what they have lined up through April:

  • February 11: From Europe with Love
    • Menu features special Bluewater versions of French Bouillabaisse and Italian Cioppino followed by a split of Chocolate Lava Cake or Key Lime Pie and paired with Domain Ste. Michelle Brut or hand-selected French and Italian wines.
  • March 10: Taste of Louisiana
    • California-inspired versions of Redfish, Gumbo and Crabcakes paired with a Ramos Gin Fizz to bring out the flavor and turn up the heat. Also featured are Bluewater Grill Oysters Rockefeller.
  • April 14: Traditional Seafood Boil
    • Whole crawfish seasoned with Cajun sauces followed by Crawfish Gumbo and a Louisiana version of Bluewater’s popular year-around Cioppino. Includes a Sazerac, Gin Fizz, draft beer, or house wine.
